MMD created visually compelling materials to communicate a project of particular importance to the firm. Principal Paola Moya has designed a mixed-use urban plan for Internally Displaced People (IDP) in Cartagena, Columbia. IDPs are people who are internally homeless and displaced due to war, famine, or natural disaster. Currently, Columbia has the world's second highest number of IDPs; in an attempt to mitigate the increasing crisis the plan serves to provide a socially, economically, and environmentally sustainable solution to the problem. This infographic design uses visual elements to communicate the mission, extent and characteristics of the plan.
