Located in Southeast Washington, D.C., the planned redevelopment of the 18.5-acre Skyland Shopping Center into a new, pedestrian-friendly, mixed-use town center is a major initiative of the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development. The partnership also includes a development team and Torti Gallas and Partners, as well as Marshall Moya Design. The site will incorporate 280,000 sq. ft. of retail, three stand-alone parking decks, approximately 475 residential units, and a town square public space.
