Jan is a Project Designer for Marshall Moya Design. In this role, he supports the firm's design efforts through generating preliminary architectural designs, construction drawings, 3D modeling, project documentation, and conceptual designs of existing and proposed projects. He also contributes to the firm's graphic design and branding projects. He is skilled in Autocad and Revit, as well as InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. On the architectural side, he assists with schematic design and architectural drawings for a multiplicity of projects, ranging from commercial, corporate, institutional and residential. In branding, he uses his design skills to contribute to large-scale graphics for architectural projects, as well as numerous branding assignments which include identity systems, presentations, marketing collateral and promotional marketing campaigns.
Jan is a skilled design strategist and creative thinker. While in college, he co-founded De-Cycle, Inc., a collaborative of designers who worked on innovative projects ranging from furniture design to exhibits and installations. His work earned him a prestigious award as a finalist in the GSEA Global Entrepreneurship Awards.
From Puerto Rico, Jan worked for several architecture firms before joining Marshall Moya. He graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, with a minor in Graphic Design, from Pontifical Catholic University in Ponce, Puerto Rico. He plans to pursue a Master's degree in Computer Animation. Jan enjoys all forms of imagination and creativity. Art, through any form or media, is a big part of his life. He's particularly fond of dynamic storytelling, graphic novels, cinema, music and poetry.
